Leo Titone

Leo Titone MBA, CPA

LEO IS OUR FOUNDING CPA AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER.

Unlike most CPA’s Leo is an advisor first, and a CPA second. Having received his MBA in Entrepreneurship in 1987 and his CPA in 1989, he worked for 12 years in corporate America as a Chief Financial Officer, Controller and Director of Operations.  

Recognizing there was a greater need outside of the traditional Taxes, Bookkeeping and Payroll functions, Leo formed Next Level CPA and Business Advisory Services.  The company grew for 17 years, until it was sold to a local CPA in Indianapolis.  In 2012, Leo took the same “outside the box” concept to the SW Florida area as CPA Tax Advisors.  

He believes in CPA Tax Advisors being the one source of trusted information to help you make the best business and individual financial decisions possible.
He brings nearly 35 years of proven business experience in financial management, accounting, bookkeeping, tax strategy, and more to reduce business and individual tax costs and fully optimize an organization’s finances.

AMY IS OUR BOOKKEEPING MANAGER

Amy Kelly is a Certified Bookkeeper at CPA Tax Advisors.  She received her accounting degree from Northwestern University, passed the CPA exam in 1984, and was the Accounting Supervisor at a large real estate firm in Chicago before taking some time off to raise a family.  

Amy and her husband owned a successful retail franchise in Rochester, NY for almost 20 years, gaining valuable experience in the operation and accounting for a small business prior to relocating to Fort Myers FL.  Prior to CPA Tax Advisors, Amy was a tax preparer in Cape Coral.

REBECCA IS OUR PAYROLL MANAGER AND NEW CLIENT COORDINATOR

Rebecca has many years of experience in accounting and payroll and will work with clients in terms of payroll preparation, payroll tax filing and maintaining corporate compliance with federal and state regulatory agencies.  She provides an internal compliance role verifying completeness and accuracy for our clients.

She is a Certified QuickBooks Advisor and has many years of bookkeeping experience as well.

Her pinpoint accuracy, tenacity and work ethic aim to “wow” our clients.

JENNIFER IS OUR OFFICE MANAGER

Nearly a Fort Myers native having moved here when she was just six years old, Jennifer brings over 20 years of business experience in office management to our firm.

Jennifer is skilled in QuickBooks, payroll preparation, and is also a certified transcriptionist with “lightning speed” on the keyboard. She is typically the client’s first point of contact with our office.

SANDRA IS OUR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Sandra is our newest team member. Sandra, a Boston native, having moved here 4 years ago, brings 25 plus years in office administration primarily in Public Accounting. Sandra helps with the day to day operations, scheduling, scanning, receptionist and a general point of contact. She is very “people oriented” and is a welcome to our team.

SHERYL IS OUR BOOKKEEPER

A Florida Native, Sheryl began her career in the banking industry. Opening a small HVAC company in Lake County Fl, in 1992, her responsibilities were the overall bookkeeping, payroll, and operations of the company. She created procedures for and Sales, Service, Dispatch, Customer Service and Purchasing departments, growing, and managing the successful company to serve 4 central Florida counties with over 30 employees and 20 vehicles at the time of the sale in 2013.

2011-2013 Sheryl had the honor of being an active volunteer Treasurer and Board member for the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 219 in Fruitland Park, FL where she set up the bookkeeping system in QuickBooks and was hands on with all fundraising activities.

After selling the company, Sheryl moved to the Orlando area to be closer to family. There she began a bookkeeping service helping small companies clean up their books. This included all bookkeeping procedures and cleaning up the Balance Sheets with proper allocation of assets and liabilities. One of her expertise areas is helping the service industry to set up job costing for better profit reporting.

Moving back to SW Florida this year, Sheryl is now wanting to help you keep better records, and, of course, keep what you earn!
